WHO ARE WE? AB Consultants International has been providing specialist Health and Safety services to industry for the past 7 years. Continued growth lead to it becoming a Limited company in 2003. Our client base covers small office based businesses to large multi site cleaning companies, from small wood working shops to large scale brewing and bottling, hotels, restaurants, manufacturing, import/export, food production, Heating and Ventilation, scrap merchants, electronics, railways, car repair/manufacture, care homes,  in fact nearly every form of service and production company has been covered.

Many of our current clients have been with us since our first visit to them, and growth has been by recommendation from satisfied clients, and links with other consultancy businesses carrying out for them the specialist work they are not equipped or trained for. This type of growth is only sustained by providing the right service and responding to your clients needs and requirements. We have clients whose continued insurance premium are dependent on them continuing to use us as their H&S specialists, for others our presence at the negotiating table as enabled them to land sizeable contracts. For others implementation of the correct systems has significantly reduced their accidents and resulted in less lost time incidents, to the benefit of both morale and the bottom line. Our presence at HSE audits has in several cases lead to them having a increased inspection period.

All of our senior consultants are NEBOSH or MIOSH qualified and have extensive experience of both business and Health and Safety and are well aware of its interaction, so will always strive to minimise the effects on the business of H&S decisions.. As appropriate; staff are kept abreast of the latest H&S requirements; by additional training, for example Asbestos surveying or Noise assessment and Audiometry, in order to continue to provide our clients with a one stop shop for all of their H&S requirements.

With a thorough grounding in QA systems (from BS5750 onwards) we can work with companies towards their ISO 14000, ISO 9000, ISO 17025, IPPPC, OHSAS 18001, BRC IOP, Care Home Accreditation etc. From drafting systems and writing procedures to implementing them we can or may be of assistance. In all cases we would work to integrate all of the systems with existing accreditations and systems making for an efficient and effective package, not unnecessarily adding to management overheads.  How many times have you been to a site that is ISO 9000 accredited but not had to sign in? - this is a failing in both their H&S requirements and in their ISO 9000 requirements so what else are they doing wrong?
